"Thousand Sades of Green" Human naturally love being in nature. Nature connection is our key point approach for this special project, the site has million dollar view which span 120 degrees from north to west site and we would like to incorporate the those valuable point with the facilities that we added. Originally the site has various vegetation ( forest tree, crop plant and flowering plant) which then will become a unique landscape diversity that can provide different experiences. Camping become popular activities nowadays, from simply using a portable tent to manmade expensive fix structure both aim to make people get closer to nature. Why? because naturally, human had familiar relationship with nature. And most of our current society habit has taken those need with bunch of work to do that makes people lack of spending their time in nature. Camping provide direct contact with nature, works with and get benefit from it. In this project, we combine the people need of getting close to nature with providing a simple yet functional facilities that can improve their physical and mental health for gaining more creativity when they come back to their daily life. Various interaction with natural light, the sound of water, growing plants, natural material and exercise program will be introduced to increase their mood. When it comes to architectural design, “Less foot print and light structure” is our purpose when insert the building into this steep site. Try not to touch too much on the ground, leave the existing grade and keep the natural ecosystem that already exist as originally is. Our current design shows the overall building foot print only use less than 10% of the site by using a combination of steel and reused timber for structure also lightweight tent fabric for cover. The last but not least. Plant selection play an important role in providing series of experiences. Starting with welcoming garden series consist of flowering tree, using native plant tree as part of land conservation which also help to prevent land slide at critical area. Then introduce local crop plantation as for guest to get in touch with local activities as part of the experiences.
